Mercy Housing is a national non-profit that develops and manages large affordable housing projects throughout the US. They also offer supportive services for their residents. You can look at the various projects they've built on their website here. Type in "San Francisco" in the "City or Zip" box to see apartment buildings in the Bay Area, which range from 40 residential units to up to 150 units.

Of note, all of the Mercy Housing developments built in our area are in densely urban areas, on main arteries, and advertise being steps from Muni lines and other transportation alternatives. There have been virtually no developments in the heart of densely populated suburban areas.
